My work is characterized by bold, colorful designs infused with whimsy and a sense of humor. My style tends to gravitate towards the simple side, but I like to think of it as simple with a little something extra! I love experimentation and usually try any new technique at least once. I've always thought of myself as an eclectic scrapbooker, as I like to use a variety of products and techniques, borrowing from different styles to suit each particular layout. I have been scrapbooking for 9 years and over that time my style has evolved but remains what I like to think of as photo-centric. Regardless of the elements I use on my layouts, the focus is always on the photographs. I use papers, embellishments and even various design styles to enhance my photographs and convey the mood of my layouts. I love nothing more than patterned paper and use it on almost every layout I create. I also love dimensional, textural embellishments and alphabet stickers and rub-ons. Overall, I feel that I have a unique style that clearly represents me - it is fun and funky, with striking photographs and honest journaling.
